Video: FS – Developer Site Notes

  • Developer Site Notes are useful for Support/Project Work when they need to work with the client on the site
  • Was there anything unique about the site that you built? A different functionality? An atypical layout? Is there a process to updating something that you can do a tutorial video on?
  • I typically add notes as I go while they are still fresh in my mind instead of waiting till the very end when the task is assigned to me

Update 1/2026:
With the new CRM update in Asana the location for this has moved to the website’s project > Overview tab > Project Description text area

Also, if you’re doing Project Work, keep notes here for anything a future designer/dev will need, such as where to find weirdly located settings that you had issues finding, quirks, workaround implemented, etc.
